About

Celebrating 10 Years · 2016–2026

A Tri-Valley based philanthropic organization celebrating Indian culture in the Bay Area — a slice of Bengal, and a decade of community, celebration, and service.

What Do We Do?

We organize a variety of events that benefit the community, celebrate our diverse culture, and provide a platform for performing arts. From organizing food drives, helping out at the senior center, and cleaning up local parks to something as simple as planning a fun hike in the neighborhood, we are committed to the well-being of one and all.

Mission Statement

We are a Tri-Valley based philanthropic organization celebrating Indian culture in the Bay Area. We are committed to bringing people together, giving them a reason to smile and have fun together through organizing charitable causes and community events that promote peace, harmony, and well-being.

Why Agomoni?

The Bay Area Tri-Valley has been our ‘home away from home’. Vibrant and diverse, it has truly been a melting pot of people from a variety of races, cultures, and religions. The desire to give back to this wonderful community is the driving force that got us together. Learning to give, to accept differences, and to work together as one for a better community are lessons the world could do with today — and these are the guiding principles behind Agomoni.

Philanthropy

Giving Back: Our CPA Initiatives

Through our Charitable & Philanthropic Activities (CPA) team, service is at the heart of everything Agomoni does. A few of our core initiatives:

Blood Donation Drives

Our CPA team organizes annual blood donation camps in San Ramon, where selfless volunteers come together to make a life-saving difference. There is no alternative to blood — and our donors are the champions who help us achieve incredible things year after year.

Art Workshops for Kids

Agomoni kids create beautiful acrylic paintings at CPA-led art workshops, which are then sold at our Philanthropic booth during Durga Puja. All proceeds support art education projects for students at the Agomoni Kishalaya School in the Sundarbans.

Partnership with Mukti

In collaboration with Mukti, a socio-economic development organization in the Sundarbans (West Bengal), we run the Agomoni Kishalaya School for underprivileged children — funding teachers, mid-day meals, and healthcare support.

Through the Mukti Community Development Fund, we also help create women entrepreneurs with 0% interest loans and business training, with a goal of empowering 2000+ women.
