Gorgeous spring weather, beautiful outdoor, wonderful people and lip smacking food – check check and check for Agomoni Annual Day event!
Agomoni celebrated Annual day (Borshopurti) along with Bengali New Year (Noboborsho) with a bang! Weather was gorgeous, so was the spirit of our members! We kicked off with a typical picnic style bbq and almost went into a food coma with dozens of mouth watering dishes brought in potluck style by our wonderful members! What more, we even had a special segment for celebrating Poush Parbon with patishapta, rosho puli, bhaja pithe, rosh bora, malpua, homemade sandesh, bhapa doi and payesh! Phew!
We heard from our board members and leads about our events planned for 2019 – there is so much to come in the year! Last but not least, we had a fabulous bengali quiz session where the questions were as much fun as the innovative answers that some of us came up with!
